Registration/subscription FAQs

Registration instructions for LAG website

Individuals

- Click 'register' in top right-hand corner of website

- Choose 'personal registration'

- Fill in form but ignore the unique code field at the top

- An activation link will be sent to your e-mail (please check your spam folder if the e-mail is not received - if you still can't find it, please call LAG on: 020 7833 2931 or e-mail: lag@lag.org.uk and we'll activate your account for you)

- Click activation link to activate your account

- Log-in to LAG website by clicking 'login' in top right-hand corner of website using username and password set up during registration

- Access your account by clicking on your name at the top of the page

- Use your account to edit your contact details, view your online purchase history and see your membership/subscription status

Organisations

- The organisation representative should click 'register' in the top right-hand corner of website

- Choose 'organisation registration'

- Fill in form with both the organisation details and your personal details

- An activation link will be sent to your e-mail along with the unique organisation code (please check your spam folder if the e-mail is not received - if you still can't find it, please call LAG on: 020 7833 2931 or e-mail: lag@lag.org.uk and we'll activate your account for you)

- Click activation link to activate your account

- Distribute the organisation code to all employees who you would like to register within your organisation

- Log-in to LAG website by clicking 'login' in top right-hand corner of website using username and password set up during registration

- Access your organisation's account by clicking on your name at the top of the page

- Use your account to edit your organisation's and your own contact details, view your online purchase history and see your organisation's membership/subscription status

Employees (staff users)

- Click 'register' in top right-hand corner of website

- Choose 'personal registration'

- Fill in form and include the unique code at the top (this will have been sent to you by your organisation representative)

- An activation link will be sent to your e-mail (please check your spam folder if the e-mail is not received - if you still can't find it, please call LAG on: 020 7833 2931 or e-mail: lag@lag.org.uk and we'll activate your account for you)

- Click activation link to activate your account

- Log-in to LAG website by clicking 'login' in top right-hand corner of website using username and password set up during registration

- Access your account by clicking on your name at the top of the page

- Use your account to edit your contact details, view your online purchase history and see your membership/subscription status (note: employees must contact their organisation representative (whose details are recorded in their account) regarding LAG membership or Legal Action subscriptions - they are not able to subscribe or become members themselves).

Legal Action subscriptions

Individuals

- Individual subscribers will have access to full magazine content online as well as the archive dating back to 2001. They will receive the subscriber discounts on LAG training/events automatically at check out.

- The run out date of the existing subscription will be available in the account and the option to resubscribe online will be available once the current subscription has run out.

Organisations

- Organisation subscribers will receive one access to full magazine content online as well as the archive dating back to 2001 for each hard copy subscription. By clicking 'Subscribed' in the account, the organisation representative will be able to assign access to employees registered on the site. They will receive the subscriber discounts on LAG training/events automatically at check out.

- The run out date of the existing subscription will be available in the account and the option to resubscribe online will be available once the current subscription has run out.

- To grant access to an employee, the organisation representative should give them the organisation code (found in the org rep's account) and ask them to register on the LAG website.

- Once registered, the employee will be listed on the organisation representative's 'Subscribed' page. By following the instructions on that page, the org rep can assign or recall access in line with the number of additional subscriptions purchased.

- The org rep should inform the employee that access has been granted, and they will be automatically subscribed on their next log-in.

Claiming existing subscriptions/membership

- Organisation representatives or individuals (but not employees - see below) can tick the relevant check boxes during registration to claim existing subscription(s) and/or membership.

- Once verified by LAG administration, the relevant subscription(s)/membership will be set up in the customer's account.

- Online subscription/membership will run to the end of the existing subscription/membership.

- LAG admin will inform the customer that access has been granted/denied. If granted, it will be automatically available in the account on next log in. If denied, LAG admin will contact the customer with reasons.

- Employees must contact their organisation representative (details in their account) about the Legal Action subscription or membership. If the organisation is a member, any employees registered within that organisation will automatically be members too. Legal Action subscriptions are managed by the org rep (see above).
